I’ll be posting info on the Holiday Fest open house later tonight or tomorrow… I am very hopeful that it will be a nice day and I’ll get to see a lot of adorable holiday outfits and cute little smiles at that one.  The holiday fest open house will have holiday themed quick pics and at least two different background set ups… and will run from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Fall Foliage Days was burdened with cold drizzly rain almost the whole weekend this year in Harmony!  My open house wasn’t a smashing success, but it was fun just the same.  Had a few people come in to check out the newish studio, and a few others to sign up for the drawing, and a few others to get some pictures taken at the quick pic mini-sessions!  Check out www.memoriesbylizzie.com/fallfoliage09 to view the photos from that.  I took a few more pics of each child than I normally would since it was pretty slow moving – and the kids were all great!

I’m guessing that not too many of you know what a “quick pic mini session” really is…

So… I’m about to tell you!

A “quick pic mini session” never has a session fee… the actual taking of the pictures is always free.  The only cost to you is whatever prints you choose to purchase… no minimum order, no obligations.

There will only be one to two backdrops set up… and most of the time there will be a few interchangeable props… The scene will generally match the season that the open house is being held in.

You will be allowed one pose per order form, and the photos will be ordered and paid for on the day of the open house.  There is an option on the form to have your order shipped to you – minimum $5 shipping and handling.  The photos will be available for pick up within 2-3 weeks of open house. Please allow another 3-5 business days for orders shipped.

“Quick pic mini sessions” are a great tool for those of you who like to get pictures taken every season, but do not require a full session each time.  They are not intended to be a replacement for a photo session, more as an economical addition to the typical photo sessions you may have done.

These sessions are walk-in only, and are usually quite speedy.  One pose… a few laughs and different snaps to be sure we have a great one, and voila!… we have a great seasonal photo for you to enjoy for years to come.

I plan to continue doing these throughout the years… and I hope to see you all there at some point in time!!!
